So many times we catch ourselves saying "I need .....". Usually it has to do with the newest, more advanced item on the market. In the next month, Apple will launch the Iphone 6s, while Samsung released the Galaxy s6 earlier this year. These two companies tend to be the top selling phones in the industry, and usually when they have a release it generates a lot of attention. Below are articles about these new phones. Review the articles and choose to either compare the Galaxy s6 to the Iphone 6s, or choose one of the phones and explain whether the updates are worth the hype the phones generate. (Remember these are you thoughts, it is important to be able to communicate your thoughts to other).

Personally, I think that neither of these phones are worth attracting this much attention in daily life. On a technological front, they might be much more exciting, given that they may include new features unavailable to smartphone users in the past.

In my opinion the galaxy s6 is worthy for a upgrade . The phone has a larger screen and is also HD . samsung has fixed last year bugs and added new features according to which plan you have .

I personally think that the IPhone 6s will be worthy enough to upgrade and here is why... IOS 9 will be coming with the new phone and it has amazing features. On top of that it will be bigger, even though some people don't like big phones. I personally would love to upgrade to the new iphone but sadly i don't have money

I believe that because apple has not released much info about the iphone 6s there is either not much to say about it or they are keeping a big detail about it secret. Either way we don't have enough details about it to even begin to compare it to the Galaxy 6s. From what I know galaxy has been trying to get ahead of apple in any way they can. This includes making their newest phone two inches bigger than apple's newest phone. Also adding details such as the stylus pen for the note phone and a lot of other small but sometimes important details for their customers. I believe there is more hype for all new cell phones than needed. But cell phones have become such a big part of our lives that what is too much hype for how much we use them in our everyday lives? People can buy whatever phone they want, even if it is only for the brand. I just don't believe a cell phone release should generate this much hype.

I don't think that this time the difference between the iphone 6 and 6s is that big of a difference that you need the newest version. Waiting 2 years then there can be a big change in phone qualities. When it can make your life better/easier and it is a product you use everyday then i think that it would be worth the money to upgrade.

I would have neither. I have the Motox 2nd gen with a good sized screen at 5.2in. The new phones from apple and samsung are hard to fit in my hand and it is much easier to use the phones as a tablet. An Ipad mini is just as big but a little shorter.

I think that newer is not always better. I think this because, the problems they had with the 6 are now in the 6s. This includes the logic board and storage issues. If you have a 6 or 6 plus keep the 6

The apple 6s is better than the samsung s6. In three months of the time 47.5m 6s were sold. The phone is more popular and more used then samsung. The good thing about the 6s or any other apple product it will not getting any viruses but samsung can.

I would prefer Apple because I have gotten use to using apple products, such as iPod , the ishuffle and more. I personally don't like the Samsung products, because it doesn't have what an iPhone has and I like the features iPhone has. For example emojis, iPhone is popular for emojis, Samsung tried to copy it but the way you see it on a Samsung is like a cartoon. So I like iPhone better

I don't think that either phone is better than each other. They both have parts that are good and parts that you wouldn't prefer. With the Iphone 6s, I think they have the better operating system than the Galaxy 6s. It is safer but stricter than androids. I like how lenient android is. I think the Iphone 6s has a better camera than Galaxy s6. Iphone made their phones bigger to compete with Galaxy so both phones need to come up with something big because right now they are neck and neck.

both companies think that adding a larger screen and a better software update will have consumers coming back to buy their products. But all they should really do is try to perfect the current phones we currently have so they can avoid these problems in the future.

I think that all the hype about the Iphone 6 was for an accurate reason because the phone improved in its ways of being able to help people in their daily lives. Now you can see the people you talked to last or most recently and the people you are scheduled to meet with next. Now there are also suggested apps which are dependent on which apps you most use in your daily life. The apps will appear on the search screen at the time you normally wake up. Lastly, places nearby where you can shop, dine or play will show up with results and any news around you will pop up too. With all this being said, I think people are doing the right thing about being excited for this new phone and update because it will help people get through life easier all around the world.

i think that they both have there pros and cons because on a i phone you download all types of apps and on a android sometimes you cant download the apps that you want and on a i phone i think the pictures look better so like i said they i think both are good phones

I agree with Abigail that both of these phones are attracting way more attention then they should. I am fine with the phone I have right now and do not care for all the little updates Samsung and Apple are putting on their plus edition new phones. Also, I am a teenager therefore I have little extra spending money, and there is no way my parents would cave in on buying me either of these.

I don't think that there is a difference between the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6s. personally I think they are the same quality and its just a bit different just because of the screen so does it really matter which one is better.

I think that someone should not buy/upgrade on these phones. The iPhone 6 is already a good phone. The iPhone 6s isn't going to be worth paying for since you already have the 2nd latest phone. It isn't going to be worth paying more just to have a bigger phone and some minor upgrades. That is why I think people are paying to much attention for a bigger phone.

I do not think that newer is always better, if you want to upgrade then do it because of how helpful it is because these phones basically do the same things it's just the size or the HD and while they are cute they are just a waste of money. Unless you really need one of its features then yes you could make a good investment. Just that cuter things aren't always better, they just work for a better appearance. You should buy a phone you truly need because it will be useful. Not just because it's prettier. If i had to get one i would choose the iPhone 6s due to it having an amazing camera but the size and how popular it is doesn't really matter to me.

Newer isn't always better. There is always something people will hate about a new phone. The Iphone seems so far that it is better than the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge.

In my opinion I think that Samsung is worthy because they fixed most of the problems that the phones had.

well in my opinion there is not a bi8g difference between the iphone 6 and iPhone 6 plus. The 6 plus is just bigger but they both have the same concept. The 6 plus is more expensive but they both accomplish the same thing.

I think that it doesn't matter what size iPhone you have. I personally think that its a waste in money. In the technological world I understand the use of having an update of an iPhone. If i were to pick one it would be the iPhone 5S because its the right size and has just about everything the iPhone 6 has. The Galaxy phone is bigger than the iPhone 6S but i know of people that have problems with then. I don't think i would want to spend my money on a Galaxy because I've always been pleased with an iPhone.

Apple is coming out with their newest phone on September 11, the I Phone 6s and the 6s plus. There is alot of debate on whether it will be worth upgrading. I think that the buyer should do what he/she wants. If he/she wants to have the new phone then go for it. There are people that still have the Iphone 4 and are still happy.

I think that the hype the new phones are generating are mainly because of the new additions which help make life easier. The new Iphone 6s lets you see the news based on your location. The phone also has suggested apps, which are apps that you are likely to use based on other apps that you have downloaded. The new Galaxy S6 has increased display size to 5.7 inches which is slightly bigger than the Iphone 6s. All in all I don't think the updates are worth the hype because the phones have only gotten a bit smarter.

The iphone 6s/6s+ s very competitive with the Samsung galaxy s6 even though they have very similar things with eatch other. One of the main similarities are that they both have better or upgraded cameras. another similarity that I have personally saw was that both phones are the thinnest phones on the market for both companies. The last similarity that I've noticed is that they have the phone jack, phone charging port, phone speaker, and home button type of thing in the same exact places. If I were to choose which phone I would buy I would buy the Iphone 6s/6s+ because I love my Iphone 5s, and it's an amazing phone to have on the spot with siri to help you with finding sources and other apps if you can't find the app you are looking for.
